This book may look ordinary from the outside. Inside though it is dynamite.I agree it is a shared book. The songs by Charlie Byrd are pure perfection.'The Blues Sonata' starts off in a very sad sombre way. Like a good blues should be.They are a must have for all fans. The bonus part is the CD. The songs are played by the Charlie Byrd trio. Extended versions with improvisations. A whole side of the original recording of 'Blues Sonata'. So this book is great value.'The Blues Sonata' is divided into 3 parts. It is one of Charlie Byrds greatest compositions. To have this sheet music with chord progressions. Is like owning a chunk of Gold. The John Griggs part is good also. Different, as they are Jazz standards. Great for practising and trying to interprate. If this book is that good.
